The two drawbacks that I have for the beeper is that it takes 72 hours for the glue to completely set, and that it is bigger than expected, although I was prepared for that by reading other posts.
However, it works great. Pretty easy to find the disk once the sound goes off. The adhesive seems to work well. I have hit several trees and one hard shot straight down into the ground, and no problem.
There are two things I have found that make it not as easy as I thought it was going to be to hear the sound. First I play early in the morning in Washington State which has a lot of birds and sometimes it is not so easy to hear the beeper with all of the other similar bird calls going on. Also, if the disk lands flat on the ground the sound can be muffled under the disk until you are pretty close, so you still have to pay attention to generally where you threw it.
But so far it is really saving me a lot of time, especially on this one hole where I always land in the bushes and trees and have been known to waste a lot of time before searching for my disk.
